The lamp automatically switches between 4 brightness levels (100% → 60% → 30% → 50%) within 12 working hours at night. Gradient discharge can prevent deep over discharge of lithium batteries, reduce internal heat loss, and effectively extend the cycle life of LiFePO4 batteries. The controller is pre-set with a complete 12 hour working cycle at night, divided into 4 independent brightness and power levels, which automatically switch by time logic after the dusk light triggers the light:

Phase 1 (0-3 hours after dusk): 100% full power brightness

During peak pedestrian/vehicle traffic periods, maximum road safety lighting is achieved with Philips 5050 LED module full output.

Phase 2 (3-6 hours): 60% medium power dimming

The traffic volume gradually decreases, and the battery discharge current is cut off by moderately reducing the power consumption.

Phase 3 (6-9 hours): 30% low-power energy-saving mode

People/vehicles with ultra-low traffic at night, minimum power consumption, and core battery protection stage.

Stage 4 (9-12 hours before dawn): 50% semi bright standby mode

Commuting before dawn has slightly rebounded. For safety reasons, the brightness should be moderate to avoid excessive discharge before charging resumes at sunrise.

1. Avoid deep discharge

Lithium iron phosphate batteries will experience irreversible capacity degradation when discharged below the safe cut-off voltage.

Continuous full power lighting at night leads to severe deep discharge every night, greatly shortening the cycle life;

4-level segmented dimming ensures stable discharge load, maintains battery residual voltage within a safe range every morning, eliminates deep discharge damage, and directly doubles battery cycle time.

 

2. Stabilize the discharge current and reduce heat loss

Sudden high current continuous discharge can cause internal heating of the battery, accelerate electrolyte aging, and increase internal resistance.

Timed step dimming controls the output current in a gradient manner, reducing internal heat generation, slowing down battery aging, and reducing the risk of expansion/failure in cold outdoor environments during winter in Poland.

 

3. Match solar charging capacity with power consumption

Poland has short sunshine hours in autumn and winter, resulting in limited solar energy harvesting.

 

12 hour staged power reduction to match the actual daily power generation of solar panels, prevent battery overdrawn on rainy/cloudy days, ensure continuous lighting on rainy days, and protect the battery pack.

 

Comply with EU energy conservation and emission reduction regulations, and meet local government clean energy subsidy assessment standards;
